On Our Feature Wall: Brittany Makes

Recently as I was scrolling through my Instagram explore feed, with one picture fading into the next, this phenomenal picture from Brittany Makes caught my eye.

In the last 2 years, our family has been blessed with 3 amazing, little souls - two boys, and most recently a beautiful girl. Since then nurseries have had a soft spot in my heart. But when it comes to nurseries and the year 2017, if you have seen one you have seen them all. Until now that is... let us just take a minute or 17 to appreciate this beautiful space!

Brittany's inspiration all started with this striking wallpaper by Ellie. She says: "The wallpaper & installation was quite possibly the most expensive decor investment I’ve made to date, and let me assure you, I don’t regret one penny." I would have to agree with her, to get this wallpaper up in my own home I am willing to sell a kidney (maybe not mine, but definitely my brother's or something)

Ok, are you ready to see the other side of the nursery?

Yip, that's right Brittany's little girl Mara, shares her beautiful nursery with older brother Zano. It is not uncommon for pigeon pair siblings to share a space; and making it work for both a girl and boy is something that takes a lot of thought.

I have said it before and I will probably still say it a million more times: masculine spaces with feminine accents are my real obsession. Brittany completely nailed it with her children's room.
